"Home
Town Boy Makes Good"
With
mom seated in the front row along with some of his former band
mates around the table, Craig plays a few tunes for 7,000+ people
before excepting this wonderful award with his mom on stage.
"...it was so cool because some of the guys
that had spent a lot of time playing music with me around the
house as kids are now respectable business men in my home town
of Sacramento and were sitting around the table wih mom.
"It
was like old times and seemed like only yesterday that we were
all kids sitting around the dinner table with mom & dad
35 years ago because of the music my parents always supported.
Only this time the "kids" were old enough to drink
and mom didn't have to do all the cooking and the dishes afterwards.
"I've
never been more grateful than that night to be able to honor
my mother with the privilege of me being able to except such
a great award with her by my side while helping support such
a great cause in our own home town" -CC,
