Wow, summer has come and gone and now it's hard to believe we're already into fall. Hope you all had a great summer; I've enjoyed seeing so many of you out on the road, thanks for your continued support and feedback.

I am currently putting the finishing touches on my CD, which I hope to release around February 2004. I want to thank you all for the great song titles you submitted, rest assured we are combing through all of your suggestions, by the way they are awesome! Stay tuned to find out if the title you submitted was used...so hard to choose from so many great ideas! I can't wait for you all to hear it; I'm pretty darned proud of this new material and have so enjoyed reconnecting with old friends so to speak on this project.

Speaking of the last issue of Gathering of the Tribes, we threw you a curve ball for our Caption Contest, the person in the photo is not really me, it's Pete Sears, bassist extraordinaire and fellow band mate from the Jefferson Starship days...the FOUR strings and FOUR tuning pegs on the BASS guitar being played in the photo may have been a hint to those who play and/or recognize the 6-string variety of guitar I generally try and play, but even the photographer thought it was a photo of ME in concert. Ha-ha! I actually wish I looked that cool when I played, but even I was fooled at first when I saw it. I told Lil about it and we decided to throw it in there to see if any of you would catch it. Did you? Sorry to be such a sneak, you know me; I can be a prankster with the best of them! Ha-ha.

As for other updates, I just came back from my hand therapist and after eight weeks I’m almost 100% back to "normal" with the recovery from the hand and wrist injury! Yeah!!!
